Aged Care Nurses / Carers
Due to recent staff retirement and relocation, Moyola currently has 12 permanent shifts available as well as casual positions for the following roles;
Registered Nurse ($28.59-$45.98 per hr + penalties + super)
- In-charge of Moyola Lodge (24/7 on-call support provided)
- Administration of medication.
- Respond to resident’s health concerns.
- Escalate and liaise with Care Professionals and families.
- Consistently review and update Resident Care Plan.
- Lead and support others to act in accordance with the Aged Care Quality Standards and Professional Code of Ethics.
Endorsed Enrolled Nurse ($24.91-$29.65 per hr + penalties + super)
- Administration of medication as per the scope of practice.
- Implement aspects of residents care plans.
- Coordinate with the rostered Registered Nurse
- Escalation and documentation of resident evaluations.
- Monitor residents personal care and hygiene needs.
Personal Care Assistant ($23.39-$30.59 per hr + penalties + super)
- Assist resident’s with personal care as per their needs and preferences.
- Escalation and documentation of resident evaluations.
- Medical administration (if qualified).
All Moyola Lodge staff are required to:
- Advocate for each resident’s right to choose and dignity.
- Provide a safe and home-like environment for residents.
- Facilitate resident’s attendance at all external appointments.
- Complete documentation to ensure compliance and best care standards.
Qualifications and experience
- Registered APRAH Professionals (EN/RN).
- Hold relevant qualifications (EN/RN)
- Certificate 3 or 4 in Aged Care (Medical administration highly regarded)
- 2+ years experience in the Aged Care Industry.
- 2+ years experience in a supervisory / management role. (RN/EN)
- Gerontology and/or Management training would be advantageous.
- Successful candidates must be able to provide NDIS certification; Proof of Covid-19 vaccination, Right to work in Australia and qualifications.
